In collaboration with the Klint family, NORDICMODERN introduces another beautiful unique carpet design by Vibeke Klint, the VK-10.

VK-10 is one of the last designs Vibeke Klint made in her career in the early 00s. it is woven in warp repp technique with Vibeke Klint's characteristic details in flat weave "lightning" and "mouse stairs" in black and white.

The base color is a typical "Vibeke Klint" color, Pantone "Crocodille", brownish gray combined with black. Combining the two techniques warp repp and flat weave is challenging, as they work against each other and only the most skilled and experienced weavers are able to get the carpet in balance, i.e. to make the edges of the egg align and be straight.
